Mark smith – lead pastor

Mark is from Carrickfergus, Co. Antrim and is married to Philippa. He moved to Dublin in 2012 after completing his theological education at Oak Hill Theological College in London with a desire to explore starting a church in the city centre & previously worked as a ministry apprentice in Northern Ireland. He is passionate about Dublin and helping people see how the gospel impacts every area of our life. In his spare time Mark enjoys having people over for dinner, beating Philippa at scrabble, watching The Walking Dead and drinking excellent coffee…only excellent coffee…nothing with a gold label.

Jacob Adams – Ministry Apprentice

Jacob is from Louisville by way of Somerset, Kentucky. Jacob graduated from Boyce College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical and Theological Studies. With a great love for Dublin and the local church Jacob has great hope to see the Gospel spread throughout the city. With a great love for philosophy, especially Søren Kierkegaard, Jacob likes to spend time talking about the Christian foundation of Existentialism. He also enjoys watching some television and playing video games.

Abby Zwicky – Ministry Apprentice

Abby Zwicky is from Eagan, Minnesota, where she lived with her parents and sister. She graduated from Rivendell Sanctuary in 2014 with an Associate of Liberal Arts degree and worked for 1½ years as a Client Services Representative. Abby first grew to love Ireland when she visited in March 2017, and is passionate about building a thriving Christian community in Dublin that will have an impact on the city and beyond. When it comes to coffee shops, Abby would much rather indulge in a chai tea latte than any fancy coffee, thank you very much. She enjoys singing, reading the classics, watching movies, and anything related to The Lord of the Rings. She is thrilled about the opportunity to explore Ireland more, as well as the surrounding area.

Ben Linn – Music Director

Ben is from Northern California and Northern Nevada in the US and is married to Dorine. As someone who loves both small town life and the solace and solitude of the desert, it is only fair to ask how he came to be in the biggest city in one of the wettest countries in the world. This can be answered only by pointing to God’s work! Ben is passionate about worship ministry, having served in one capacity or another for 25 years. In his spare time, you’ll find him and Dorine hanging with their four children.
