New Apprentices

Our new apprentices, Jacob & Abby will be joining us from September to begin their two year ministry apprenticeship programme with City Church Dublin.

Jacob Adams – Ministry Apprentice

Jacob is from Louisville by way of Somerset, Kentucky. Jacob graduated from Boyce College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical and Theological Studies. With a great love for Dublin and the local church Jacob has great hope to see the Gospel spread throughout the city. With a great love for philosophy, especially Søren Kierkegaard, Jacob likes to spend time talking about the Christian foundation of Existentialism. He also enjoys watching some top rate films and shows and playing some video games. Jacob generally prefers tea to coffee, but if he’s going to have coffee it ought to be top shelf.

Abby Zwicky – Ministry Apprentice

Abby Zwicky is from Eagan, Minnesota, where she lived with her parents and sister. She graduated from Rivendell Sanctuary in 2014 with an Associate of Liberal Arts degree and worked for 1½ years as a Client Services Representative. Abby first grew to love Ireland when she visited in March 2017, and is passionate about building a thriving Christian community in Dublin that will have an impact on the city and beyond. When it comes to coffee shops, Abby would much rather indulge in a chai tea latte than any fancy coffee, thank you very much. She enjoys singing, reading the classics, watching movies, and anything related to The Lord of the Rings. She is thrilled about the opportunity to explore Ireland more, as well as the surrounding area.
